Guilford Elementary School students participated in the Unheard Perspectives Black History Month Showcase at Oakland Mills Middle School on Saturday, February 11, 2017. Reminder: Today, February 9th, Guilford will be hosting the Maryland Science Center, Family Engineering Night. Please feel free to drop in between 6:00 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. to participate in fun hands on engineering projects. All students need to be accompanied by an adult. Where have all the box tops gone? They maybe on a cereal box in your pantry, or on an applesauce container. Maybe they are in a baggie hanging on your refrigerator door. Maryland Science Center will be hosting a Family Engineering Night at GES on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 6 PM – 8 PM.

As the weather continues to fluctuate between warm and cold, please make sure your child is sent to school in appropriate clothing. We are expecting each child wear a jacket during these colder months. Our goal is to have outdoor recess each day and wearing the proper clothing is important to enjoy the time outside.
