Reminder: Today, February 9th, Guilford will be hosting the Maryland Science Center, Family Engineering Night. Please feel free to drop in between 6:00 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. to participate in fun hands on engineering projects. All students need to be accompanied by an adult. All activities will be finished by 8:00 p.m.

Come and join us at 9:30 a.m. on Friday morning for Coffee with the administrators. This is a great opportunity for casual conversation with the Guilford administrators.

Where have all the box tops gone? They maybe on a cereal box in your pantry, or on an applesauce container. Maybe they are in a baggie hanging on your refrigerator door. Whether you have 5 or 50, send them in. Our box tops submissions have been low for November and December. Each valid box top is worth 10 cents…

Donations are needed of clean empty 2 liter soda bottles to be used in an upcoming science experiment. Please send your donations to school with your students to be delivered to 4th grade pod

Maryland Science Center will be hosting a Family Engineering Night at GES on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 6 PM – 8 PM.

As the weather continues to fluctuate between warm and cold, please make sure your child is sent to school in appropriate clothing. We are expecting each child wear a jacket during these colder months. Our goal is to have outdoor recess each day and wearing the proper clothing is important to enjoy the time outside.

All of our 5th grade students will be taking the MSA Science Test. Monday, March 13th - Thursday, March 16th from 9:15 AM - 1:00 PM Parents, we ask that you do not make appointments during this testing period to ensure that your child is present and arriving on time to school.
