I look forward to being your principal at Guilford Elementary. It's been a busy transition and I am eager to have the school year start. Prior to joining Guilford, I have been a principal for the last eleven years, six at Bollman Bridge Elementary and five at Swanfield Elementary. In addition to my time as principal, I served as an Assistant Principal at Phelps Luck Elementary and Pointers Run Elementary. Prior to becoming an administrator, I taught third and fifth grades at Bollman Bridge, Manor Woods, and Phelps Luck. On a personal note, my wife, Lisa is a HCPSS fifth grade teacher and we have two active boys. Our oldest is entering middle school and our youngest will be a second grader this year. We live in Ellicott City and most of our free time is spent at either soccer or swim practice. I look forward to getting to know you and your children throughout the school year.

I am excited to be working at Guilford Elementary School as the assistant principal. I look forward to a year of learning and building relationships with students, staff and the community. Prior to coming to Guilford Elementary, I served as the assistant principal at Waverly Elementary and Forest Ridge Elementary. As a teacher, I taught grades 1, 2, and 4. My love for teaching and learning will be shared with all. Please feel free to stop in and introduce yourself, so we can begin building a collaborative relationship that will benefit you and your child.
