GES PARCC Testing Schedule - Grade 3-5
Students in grades 3-5 will soon be participating in the PARCC assessment
Next week, students in grades 3-5 will begin participating in the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) assessment. The PARCC tests are designed to match the Maryland College and Career-Ready Standards and serve as an "educational GPS system," assessing students' current performance in English Language Arts (ELA)/ Literacy and Mathematics, and pointing the way to what students need to learn to be ready for the next grade level and, by high school graduation, for college and/or a career.
Here are the assessment dates and times for our students:
ELA PARCC - April 23, 24 and 25
Grade 3 - 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.
Grade 4 - 11:20 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.
Grade 5 - 10:20 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

If a student is found to have prohibited materials in his/her possession upon arrival for testing, they will be collected by the classroom teacher.
