What a beautiful weekend, it truly felt like summer!  We hope you were able to get outside and enjoy it with your family! 

 

It’s been quite an interesting week for the HCPSS.  While there has been a change of leadership at the superintendent level, we want you to know that at Guilford, our staff will continue to work to provide exemplary instruction each day.  We continue to live our goal of Excellence in Action with a focus on Engagement, Perseverance, and Collaboration.  This morning, I was able to spend some time with our new Acting Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Michael Martirano.  He challenged us to continue to focus on students and to ask ourselves each day What are we doing for children?  How will what we do impact children?  and Do we know our students?    He shared that he looks forward to visiting Guilford and seeing the amazing things that are already happening here each day!
