Guilford Elementary...Off To A Great Start!

Mon, 08/29/2016 - 12:43pm
We are excited to have welcomed 450 students today on our first day of school!  The students were really excited to see their friends and meet their teachers.  Thank you to the PTA who hosted “Coffee and Donuts” for the many parents who came to see their children as they entered the school.

Guy Guzzone, Maryland State Senator, and Jen Terrasa, County Council member representing District 3 toured the school and were extremely impressed with how the students started their first day at school.

Dismissal begins at 3:50 pm.  Busses will leave as soon as they are loaded, since it’s the first day, it may take longer than is typical.  If your child is a car rider, please remember to stay in the car loop lane and pull forward as we load cars.  If you feel the need to park, we encourage you to park in the grass near the FCC.  Our goal as always is to dismiss in a safe and orderly manner.  Thank you!
