Guilford Mid-Summer Updates - July 18th
Good Afternoon Guilford Community,
We hope your first month of summer has been a great one and you have been able to relax after a successful school year. The summer is zooming by and I am shocked at how busy we have been here at Guilford so far. Each summer always brings a few surprises and this summer is no different. I wanted to fill you in on the changes that have occurred since the school year ended.
Howard Carter: Mr. Carter was promoted to Administrative Intern at Swansfield Elementary. Becoming an administrator is a goal of Mr. Carter's, and this is a major step toward reaching this goal. Best of Luck Mr. Carter!
Renee McClinton Giles: Mrs. Giles accepted a position as an Early Childhood Resource teacher in Washington D.C. She will be a great resource for early childhood teachers and will be missed at Guilford. Best of Luck Mrs. Giles!
Robin Benfer: Mrs. Benfer accepted a paraeducator position at Tridelphia Ridge Elementary school. She is excited to be closer to home and this change will reduce her commute. Best of Luck Mrs. Benfer.
