4th Grd Field Trip - Days of Taste (Day 1 of 3)

4th Grade Field Trip - Days of Taste.  This is a 3 part/day field trip.

Day 1:  Taste and Nutrition Basics - takes place in the classroom,students do hands-on activities to evaluate foods and experience elements of taste (salty,sour, bitter and sweet). Good nutrition and good taste is introduced.

Day 2:  Trip to the farm

Day 3:  Preparing Salad and Dressing with the Chef - in the classroom, students make their own farm-fresh salad and vinaigrette dressing.
